They’re the largest wooden pallet producer in the Intermountain West; they’re Challenger Pallet & Supply, originally based in Idaho Falls, Idaho. First founded in 1969 by Victor and Gloria Hegsted, this multi-generational family owned and operated business has passed the legacy of environmentally friendly pallet production and distribution down the family line, and now into the supply chains of hundreds of businesses, organizations, and independent clients across the country.
Long standing businesses with regular clientele oftentimes neglect the modernization of their online presence. Family descendent and General Manager of Challenger Pallet, Justin Hegsted, approached us at Smartly Done to revitalize and optimize their website with new interactive features, custom photo and video work, responsive desktop and mobile capabilities, and compelling blog entries. Multimedia Content Lead, Casey Soelberg, conducted on-site video and photo shoots in both Idaho Falls and Ogden, Utah, to capture team headshots, in-production action sequences of pallet creation, and high quality facility photos. These media assets are featured throughout their new website, including a dynamic homepage banner video to highlight the elaborate processes occurring at Challenger Pallet each day.
Our Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Digital Marketing team—Kaili Killpack and Alyssa Higginson—stepped in on this project as well, managing social media accounts, writing blog entries, and creating custom graphics and posts to stimulate traffic and exposure to Challenger Pallet’s new online facelift.
