Idaho Falls Symphony

For masterful musicians and regional talent brought to the stage, look no further than the Idaho Falls Symphony. For over 73 years, the symphony has entertained the city of Idaho Falls and its surrounding communities with orchestral entertainment comparable to anywhere in the nation. Led by their lead Conductor, Dr. Thomas Heuser, the symphony hosts large-scale concerts and community events that stimulate the creative arts and musical opportunities in Eastern Idaho.

This renowned and cherished organization had gone far too long without a proper update to their digital footprint. As many are coming to realize in our modern age, utilizing a website to digitally market is an invaluable asset for user experiences, brand awareness, mobile friendliness, and custom functionality suited to the needs of a business. For the symphony, this meant creating a custom-filtered “Tickets & Events” functionality for users to easily navigate events, purchase tickets, register for auditions, sign up for newsletters, and donate to their non-profit organization.

One of the notable features of the new Idaho Falls Symphony website is their ability to assign members to password protected internal pages. These pages include resources only meant for their Board of Directors, Youth Orchestra, and Symphony Musicians. Compared to their previous site, the symphony can now easily delegate access to administrators to manage their members and update their volunteers with new information as their seasons progress.

Custom functionality aside, our Lead Designer, Kyle Richards, closely followed the design and branding elements of the Idaho Falls Symphony logo and color schemes to reinforce design elements in the form of curved components, overlapping arches, and take-over banners to emphasize imagery.

These simple yet deliberate touches of design and custom development are exactly why the symphony came to us at Smartly Done. This new elevation of their content and user experience will last years into the future, which additionally allows the executive team at the symphony to update their site easily and efficiently, all with the ongoing support from our in-house team of specialists.
